| The Geostatistics one day workshop will cover basic to advanced knowledge in geostatistical modelling, including hands-on practical exercises to evaluate the importance of variogram models, and to compare the use of estimation and simulation algorithms. The workshop will be delivered by two lecturers in Geostatistics at Charles Sturt University, Ana Horta and Scott McManus. Both Ana and Scott apply geostatistics in their research and they are responsible for delivering the Graduate Certificate in Geostatistics and Spatial Modelling (Graduate Certificate in Geostatistics and Spatial Modelling - Study (csu.edu.au)). Anyone can attend, no previous knowledge in geostatistics required. All exercises will be done using open-source software. |
